Since the 1970s, researchers have been studying hydrolyzed collagen (CH) and its effects on cartilage metabolism. Laboratory findings, applied medical experience and clinical studies have confirmed that Fortigel accumulates in the joints and supports cartilage regeneration.
This unique action on cartilage metabolism offers doctors and sufferers an innovative way to promote joint health.
What are Fortigel Bioactive Peptides?
Fortigel hydrolyzed collagen (fortigel bioactive peptides) is produced by enzymatic hydrolysis of raw materials from collagen tissues. Collagen is the most common protein in mammals. Its biosynthesis is achieved through a number of intracellular mediators. Typical collagen fibers are created in the extracellular space, are double-crossed with covalent bonds and supply the collagen with this characteristic elastic force. Fortigel action is derived from the normal amino acid sequence; every third amino acid building block is a glycine molecule followed by proline or hydroxyproline. Unlike other supplements, Fortigel is a natural product with an amino acid composition that is almost identical to the collagen found in extracellular fluid (extracellular matrix) in the joints of the body.
Compared to other proteins, Fortigel hydrolyzed collagen contains almost 3 times more proline and glycine. These amino acids are essential for the synthesis of collagen and affect the stability of the collagen structure in cartilage.
Hydrolyzed collagen Fortigel is the only collagen product that is considered to be extremely well tolerated and safe product for which there are no restrictions from the Health Services, WHO, AFSSA etc. GRAS = (“Generally Recognized As Safe ”).
CH-Alpha with Fortigel is the only product that has patented chondro regeneration in the US.
Attention: These designations apply to Fortigel only and do not apply to any other collagen product on the market.
